The strategy, which was revealed alongside the launch of the HONOR Watch 5 Ultra, signals a long-term commitment to building an open, consumer-focused ecosystem. As part of this vision, HONOR has pledged to provide seven years of Android OS and security updates for its premium HONOR Magic Series, beginning with the forthcoming HONOR Magic7 Pro.

Coinciding with its strategic announcement, HONOR introduced the HONOR Watch 5 Ultra, a smartwatch that blends elegant design with advanced technology. Designed for extended usage, the HONOR Watch 5 Ultra is powered by a 480mAh battery, which the company claims can provide up to 15 days of battery life under typical conditions.
